Security should be set to medium or low.

Custom Level Button:

Scripting--> Scripting of Java applets: Enable

Scripting-->Active scripting: Enable Example of all above (16k)

Java-->Java permissions: Low, Medium, High, or Custom selected Example (16k)

If Custom enabled: Example (15k)

Signed Content-->Run Signed Content: enabled or prompt selected
