The Edit User Profile page contains all the information you provided when you registered. It also lists parameters that have been assigned to you by an EROS Customer Services Representative. To change any parameter that you cannot change yourself, you can contact a Customer Services Representative at:

Personal Information, Shipping Address, and Login Information Tables:
These tables contain all the information you entered when you registered. You can change any value within the tables to permanently update your User Profile.

Profile Information Table:

Parameter Definition
DORRAN Account Number: An account established at the EROS for ordering purposes. A DORRAN account is generally set up for government users or users that order a lot of products.
To get a DORRAN account, you must contact Customer Services.

Number of Logins: The number of times you have logged on to EarthExplorer using your registered user name and password.

Automatic Map Display: If marked, the Reference map will automatically pop up on your screen each time you enter the Data Sets page or the Search Criteria page.

Local Code Install: If marked, the JAVA applets will be loaded on your machine. This will reduce connect time on future EarthExplorer logins.

Query Record Limit: The largest number of records that can be returned to you when you execute a search. This number applies to each inventory you search against.

Last Login Date: The last time you logged on to EarthExplorer.

Compact Display: If marked, the headings shown on the Search Results page will be abbreviated.

Site Access Table:
The Site Access table provides a list of EarthExplorer user-defined features. A "Y" indicates that you have access to a feature while an "N" indicates that you do not. These values can only be changed by a Customer Services Representative.

Submit Icon:
The Submit icon submits any changes you made in the Edit User Profile page and updates your User Profile.

Reset Icon:
The Reset icon removes any changes you made to the Edit User Profile page.

Order Defaults Icon:
The Order Defaults icon takes you to the Update Order Defaults page. The Update Order Defaults page allows you to change the default product and media type settings for each data set. This page is useful to customers wanting to place large orders from the same data set.

Update Order Defaults
Many of the items that can be ordered through EarthExplorer are offered in multiple formats on various media. The Update Order Default page allows you to change the default product and media type settings for each data set. This page is useful to customers wanting to place large orders from the same data set.

To view or change a Product Type default, scroll down to the data set you wish to change and click on the Drop Down box below Product Type.

To view or change the Media default, scroll down to the data set you wish to change and click on the Drop Down box below Media.

Submit Changes Icon
The Submit Changes icon updates the default settings and returns you to the Edit User Profile page.

Cancel Icon
The Cancel icon disregards any changes you made in the Update Order Defaults page and returns you to the Edit User Profile page.
